From those words, came the life altering transition Lex Kennedy began six years ago to define self as a creator whose

work will be used to challenge the worlds perceptions of realities and perceived truths.  

​

After a forced coming out, Lex left Spelman College and began pursing  photography and independent film making.  Lex uses digital media to explore identity, focusing on the intersection of race, class , sexuality and gender.  It's through these artistic medians that Lex began to identify as a queer masculine of center person.

​

Lex has featured work in national and international film festivals from CampusMovieFest to Outfest Film Festival.  And is currently Editor, Director, and Co-Producer of Me&MyBois a webseries highlighting the stories of Masculine of Center People.

Lex continues to work behind the lens shooting head shots, event photos, lifestyle, and urban street art photos for clients.
